She was buried circa 1890 in Fellowship Cemetery, Alexander City, Tallapoosa County, AL. Grave is unmarked. Mary's name does not appear in Uriah Hatcher's family Bible as copied in "Jasper County, Georgia Cemetery and Bible Records", pages 209 - 210. I believe a name and a date have been accidentally omitted. Instead of "Tabitha C. Hatcher, 9-10-1829", there should be two names with two birthdates: "Tabitha C. Hatcher, 7- -1826; Maryann L. Hatcher, 9-10-1829". The census records agree with those dates. There are also other errors in the Bible record.
